The Waupaca Area Public Library is looking for volunteers in many areas! Stop in or call 715-258-4414 to learn more about our volunteer opportunities!
Ongoing Projects
- Daily Picklist: Pulling items requested for patrons
- Shelving DVD’s, audiobooks, and new books
- Cleaning Disc Media
- Covering New Books
- Shelf Reading: Making sure shelved items are in the proper order/location
- Direct Delivery Tubs: Helping pack, unpack, and track items going to senior facilities
- Book Sale Room: Work with FRIENDS of the Library to organize, price and go through donations
- Little Free Pantry: Help organize, track, and collect food items
- Puzzles: Help organize and go through puzzle donations
- Repair Books: Repair bindings and torn pages
- Engagement Table/Cart: Host the table and/or organize and check the cart during warmer months
On Call Projects
(Will call when needed)
- Weeding Lists: Collect from the shelves a list of items
- Shifting Collections: Moving items to create better spacing on the shelves
- Folding/Stuffing Envelopes
- Baking for Programs
- Greeting for Programs
- Cleaning Carts/Oiling Wheels
- Job Services: Helping someone with a resume, job application, etc (expirience / computer literacy helpful!)
