Volunteer Information
Do you have some time to spare for the Waupaca Library?
The Waupaca Area Public Library is looking for volunteers in many areas! Stop in or call 715-258-4414 to learn more about our volunteer opportunities!
Ongoing Projects
- Daily Picklist: Pulling items from shelves that patrons requested
- Covering New Books
- Adopt-a-Shelf: Choose a shelf and make sure items are in the proper order/location (training class will be provided)
- FRIENDS of the Library: Join the group and help with donations, book sales, and advocating for the library.
- Little Free Pantry: Help fill the pantry, organize, track, and collect food items.
- Repair Books: Repair bindings and torn pages
- Engagement Table: Host the table and teach a craft
- Game Cart: organize and check cart during warmer months
- Decorating Committe: Help decorate the library for seasons and events.
- Walking Books: be a part of the program that brings library items to the homebound. (short orientation provided)
On Call Projects
(Will call when needed)
- Weeding Lists: Collect from the shelves a list of items
- Shifting Collections: Moving items to create better spacing on the shelves
- Folding/Stuffing Envelopes
- Cleaning Carts/Oiling Wheels
- Job Services: Helping someone with a resume, job application, etc (expirience / computer literacy helpful!)
