Waupaca History 101:Our Indigenous and Immigrant Story

Learn more about Waupaca’s earliest inhabitants, and our historic and current day immigrants. This exhibit is the first chance to explore our newly digitized historic newspapers, generously funded through the Wisconsin Humanities Council, the Waupaca Library Foundation and community donors. Waupaca History 101 features traveling exhibits from the University of Wisconsin Madison, University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, the Ho-Chunk Museum, Oshkosh Public Museum, and the Waupaca Historical Society, and is open October 28-December 9. Exhibits at the library are located in the lower level Exhibit Room, and are free and open to the public during regular library hours.
