
Holocaust Survivor Presentation
PROGRAM IS AT WAUPACA HIGH SCHOOL
Jeffrey Gingold speaks about his father Sam Gingold’s experiences during the Holocaust. Sam Gingold was only seven years old in 1939 when Germany invaded Poland. Sam and his family were taken to the Warsaw Ghetto, where he helped his family survive by smuggling food and medicines. Jeffrey will share the secrets of their survival and escape from the Ghetto, hiding and out running the Gestapo.
Jeffrey Gingold is an internationally acclaimed and award winning author who has been featured on several national television and radio shows, as well as in magazines and global publications. Mr. Gingold will be available after his presentation to sign his book, Tunnel, Smuggle, Collect: A Holocaust Boy, and generously contributes 100% of the proceeds from his book to HERC. Books will be available for purchase and are $20 (cash or credit card).

This program is FREE to the public. Although all ages are welcome, sensitive topics will be discussed, which may not be appropriate for children 12 and under.
