WOMEN

Women tells the story of women’s rights through Smithsonian poster exhibits “Votes for Women” and “Picturing Women Inventors”; “We Stand on Their Shoulders: A History of Wisconsin Women and Voting” from the Wisconsin Historical Society; and “I Am Not Invisible (IANI)“, an exhibit from the Wisconsin Veterans Museum. The IANI campaign strives to increase awareness and generate dialogue about the role of women veterans. In addition, paintings from noted Waupaca artist, Doris Weed, are on display, with her own artistic eye and wit for Women.

Women is on display in the lower level meeting rooms, adjacent to the Children’s Department, during regular library hours. Exhibits are always FREE and open to the public.
