BBC Book Club Author Visit: Victoria Houston

We are pleased to share that Waupaca’s BBC Book Club, working with the Waupaca Library, will be hosting Wisconsin author, Victoria Houston, at the Waupaca Library meeting room on Monday afternoon, September 14th from 3:00 – 4:30 pm. Victoria has graciously offered to meet with us to answer questions about her newest novel, The Wolves Are Watching. All area book club members and other interested readers are welcome to join us for this rare opportunity to talk with Victoria in person.
While Victoria, a Rhinelander native, was involved in publishing, she didn’t write her first novel until she was in her forties. Her popular Loon Lake series and Lew Ferris series, based in north central Wisconsin, feature places we know, characters we can relate to, and a mixture of mystery and a healthy side of humor that is hard to capture. Add in her more than seven non-fiction books, and 23+ fictional books, she been a busy author, and is still going strong.
We recommend that you Google her to see a list of all the books she’s written and also encourage you to not only read The Wolves Are Watching, prior to attending, but also have some fun summer reads with her earlier books. They are fast and easy reads that will make you want to finish them in a hurry and try another. The Waupaca Library and the OWLS system offer many copies for your reading pleasure.
